Have been using my JBL Cascade for about 3-4 years now. There is no danger in using it as long as you sit slowly on the nozzle, making sure it is well lubricated and aligned correctly. The JBL is a wonderful way to take a large volume enema, as I am able to take much more fluid in one sitting, emptying the entire 6 quart bag in two sittings and taking the final quart by hanging the bag and using a hose and nozzle.

Janet, are you saying that you can take a total of 7 qts this way> How does your tummy feel with that much enema in it? Do you see obvious distention? How long do you hold it?

No, I take 6 quarts altogether. First, I take 2 quarts sitting on my JBL bag and expel. Then, I take 3 quarts during the second sitting before having to expel again. Since it is not possible to get anymore out of the JBL by sitting on it when there is only 1 quart left, I take the final quart by hanging the JBL using a tube and nozzle like a regular combination syringe.
