It is hard for me to get "regular" again. For example, I got constipated last week. When I got home from work Friday, I took an enema. Saturday morning I took another soapsuds enema. Sometimes it takes a little while for the system to get going again, especially after a good purging. But I usually don't take an enema the next day or the day after ... but if I haven't had a BM by the third day, it's time for another flushing. I think maybe I'll keep your method in mind the next time I have a problem, which, like you, is not very often. But when it happens, oh my, I need help.
