Im thinking of getting a higginson for my two girls age 7 and 9. If I may ask where did you buy yours? The store had to order it for me as they only stocked bags and Fleets. As it happened it didn't really make much difference from the bag, putting my boy on his back made more of a difference really - immediately he could take more than having him over my lap, so that's how I've done it since. Personally I'm not a fan of the higginson and as I said, the rest of us use the bag, but I feel it's useful with my son as in theory I can pump the water in and more of it. Thanks for the advice, I intend to try a couple of slow enemas while rubbing his tummy, hopefully using the douche nozzle if I can find it. With luck all this will help.
