I went to that game in Texas Stadium. We got utterly crushed, yet it was a pretty good UTA team that year. We actually won the SLC. Unfortunately, it was the first year after the Independence Bowl ended its tie-in with the SLC. It was also our last season in 1-A, as the SLC dropped down to 1-AA the next year, so we also didn't get to go to the 1-AA playoffs. Still, it was a championship. Woohoo!
