This was a real tough loss to swallow. The team had control of it for majority of the game. They held the star players for UT in check most notably Drew Stubbs until he got on base in the 9th. We could just not overcome Dillon Gee's 8th, and Pierson hit a batter to start the 9th. You can't let a team that loaded with talent stick around especially in their ballpark.

Still an impressive performance for UTA again versus a top notch team. How about Jeremiah Haar in his first collegiate start going five innings, ran into trouble in just one of those.

But our complete disappearance of a closer might really kill the team when conference play gets started.
