Wow. The same thing might have happened to us if we had gotten the go-ahead for Athletics Expansion. This is such a UT Board of Regents deal. Last year, UTA and UTSA did not hammer students with anywhere near the huge tuition & fee increases that were imposed on the Austin students. Now, this year, when we and SA are proposing some more increases, the Board slams the brakes on. It's another case of "priorities and timing."

"The action has stalled a student-led initiative passed last April that would have increased funding for UTSA athletics."
