I'm excited that a school like UCA is intersted in the SLC. I think their presence could only make us stronger. They are not from Tx or La, and they have football. Those are two criticals.

Their presence will enable us to becoming one step closer to football at UTA by increasing the presence of the SLC, creating more awareness of what happens at SLC schools.

Having another Texas/La school just would not move us forward. It's long term effects may actually even take us back some.

I like the UCA choice. That might also mean more games with other big schools in Arkansas for our other teams.
