you don't have to trust him or like him, but it is what it is, so the best thing you can do is work with everyone else to make it happen. it's not a bandwagon, it's a lagwagon - for all the resident naysayers.

i don't like basketball, i think texas could care less for basketball. even soccer has as much appeal as basketball. but it's the prospect!!!!!! the idea that we're going to finally do something big with our athletic program. after this it's finishing up the basaeball stadium. then on to football.

if we're ever going to have a successful football program, we have to have an already successful athletic program. we're not there yet, but this is the choice he has made for us and we have to make the most of it whether you like it or not because IT IS the future.
