the crowd was really into it...great atmosphere last night. The Dunbar band played well too. A lot of us had waited a LONG time to see that banner. Great to see.

There were a couple of players for TWU that could easily play Div. I ball for a lot of schools. The first half, they just couldn't miss from outside.

The Rams were very good on the boards--they really outworked us for rebounds us in my opinion (I think it was 29-40 on rebounds)

But overall, this was probably a good experience for the young Mavs. Nice to see Epps hitting 3s almost at will...

I still say point guard play is crucial. This team will go as far as the guards can take it...if we can get Thomas/Posey/Griffin the ball near the paint, the Mavs will score some points. If we don't, the offense is going to go through dry spells and not score points for 4-6 minutes at a time.
