>>pretty impressive, although our defense sure doesn't
>>show it, it sucks

The Defense was pretty pathetic against Tyler....our offense went about as well as possible (72% from the field, new UTA record)....but the defense and the FT shooting (for the first 3/4 of the game) were both absolutely pathetic....

if the offense was normal we would of lost last nights game...simple as that...luckily the O was pretty amazing....

The Defense has to step it up if we want to beat South Florida and/or New Mexico......

Myles Guidry played a LOT last night.....at times played like a freshmen (what a shock, HE IS!!!) but he did show some flashes of the player he can become....good passer (barring concetration lapse), incredible athlete, decent shooter, very good rebounder......

I am going to chalk the poor defense up to it being the holidays, and our guys just taking Tyler for granted.....they said hey we played WELL against UT Austin, Tyler should be NO problem.....I am glad we got the win, I just hope they learned some more lessons

Meanwhile, has anyone else noticed how Jarrett Howell might now be the best player on this team???? steady ball control, suffocating defense, a really nice shot, and the ability to take almost anyone off the dribble......
