There are so many opportunities to help people in our own area. Why waste a lot of money to ship stuff 3,000 miles away overseas when you can distribute it for virtually free here? Or in Florida? There are countless charities and organizations in our very town that can use that stuff here...not to mention your donations locally employ lots of local citizens and help our economy here in DFW.

WTF? One of us would let a homeless or unemployed or less fortunate person freeze or go without warm clothes because the shirt we give them has the wrong school or logo on it? Do you think a homeless, unemployed or less fortunate person cares what's on the shirt?

We should give folks in need ANYTHING we can no matter what logo it has on it. And you never know, it could easily be one of us in a tough situation instead of them at some point, if not tomorrow or next year or whatever. Nothing in life is guaranteed.

Sorry, but this is a very, very, sore subject. We should be happy to have A shirt, much less a closet full like most of us have.
