Anyone read the Shorthorn Editorial?

The official announcement is what, less than 12 hours old? And already there's an article/editoral questioning the location (parking issues) and timing (2004 it would have been cheaper). The arena has been such a long time coming, and this article doesn't fully express how important or how badly needed/wanted this facility is. I think the fact that businesses aren't doing well, and probably a lot of big capital expenditures like this one are being delayed or cancelled around the country, and here UTA is building a state-of-the-art arena. The location makes a lot of sense in the fact it will help further the downtown Arlington redevelopment, and help UTA turn in to a college town, which has been discussed quite a bit the last few years.
