 i got the cortizone shot before nans... it didn't do much... still very painful.... went into a hard cast no weight bearing for a month..... i'm now trying to get back into dancing again after losing all my strength in my left leg, but the good news is... the sesamoid feels good, so far.... we'll see how it does when i start pounding away at it again..... i refuse to have surgery... i dont want the bone taken out if i have to take a year off i will... i think if those bones are there... they must be important right?!... good luck to you.
