Subject: Hip flexor pain

 My 13 year old is complaining of pain in the front of her thigh/hip area. I suspect it is a hip flexor strain. She is very flexible and spends a lot of time stretching. Anyone have any info on this type of injury - how to treat, time of healing, how to prevent ? Would appreciate any insight...thanks !
