Subject: Re: I sure wish I could talk to a shoulder specialist RIGHT NOW!!! If anyone is out there that knows, how can you tell if your shoulder is seperated, or torn? My son plays football and is in pain tonight from a bad hit to the shoulder. As usual, the doc say, "oh, we have an appointment a week from Wed.". What is that? Does a person have to go to the ER for everything? Sheesh. Hoping alot of ice and advil help over night. Icy Hot works well until you have an MRI or can see an orthopedic doc that speacializes in the shoulder. I have 2 highschool football players.
