 My sister had sesmoiditis for about 5 years. I know how painful it is. She still complains about it today.She says nothing works. It may be that your shoes are too small. Arch supports made the pain much worse for her. Breaks also didn't help. We tryed phisical therapy, icing, heating,taping,new shoes,pading,chiropractic,acupuncture,massaging. Nothing seemed to help. The pain is better today, but still not all the way better. Good Luck! Maybe there is hope for you.
