Subject: Yes, I did last summer. I was out for 2 and a half months, but I should have been out about 3 months. I would say take your time, and when you do go back if you feel enough pain that you have to stop, don't dance again that day. And start very slow. When I went back, I think I pushed too hard-I still have occasional problems, so take the time now to heal it instead of having to take longer later.And when the dr. gives you the OK to dance, wait some more-maybe two weeks.

Yes, my daughter has been out for 4 months with growth plate fracture in ankle. Don't rush back-she did with MD approval and got reinjured. MD's don't understand Irish dance... (NT)...04:00:10 10/17/07 Wed
