My DDs R big toe was killing her after dancing & it turned out to be a stress fracture. This was the end of last May & she only has begun really dancing again at end of Sept--Doc had her ease back in gradually. Go to a really good orthopedic specialist & get good Xrays done. If it is a stress fract; you will be out of dance at very least 8 wks & wear a funny flat "shoe" that keeps you from flexing your foot. But listen, you have to walk on that foot the rest of your life so do the right thing now, even if it means you aren't dancing for a while! Anyway, if you go back to dancing on a partially healed fracture, guess what; you will rebreak it & then you'll be out even longer! Good luck & hope that is not what it is!
