I have had hip problems for the past eight months. Cracking, grinding, and discomfort. It turns out that I have been over rotating my hips and I have stretched muscles in my hip and shortened others. With the help of PT I have gotten it under control. A few weeks ago, I injured my Achilles tendon. I've been limping around. It seemed to get better, so I went back to class. Now, I am in A LOT of pain. My right Achilles is sore, my left ankle hurts because of all of the extra stress I'm putting on it because of my injured right foot, and my hips are also feeling the strain! I'm continuing with PT for my hips, and I don't want to be out because of injuries anymore! I miss dancing in class and pushing myself without having to worry about aggravating anything! If anyone has any advice, it would be appreciated. This is the first year I've ever been plagued by injury!
