Subject: My Daughter has been dancing for 10 years & is a champ dancer. She has been experiencing pain on the tops of her feet only when dancing. At times they swell & she will ice, rest &take Ibruprofen. She had X-rays & the bones are fine. It has been happening for the past 6 months- Author: anyone else have this? any suggestions? Subject Author Date My dd has same problem. 2nd metatarsal bone is much bigger due to stress. Foot Dr says overuse injury. Bought gel pads for ballof foot at footsmart.com - helps - good luck!
