 guest118 i agree with you on this. i pefer to take supositories exp when i get a headache cause they work faste then oral meds so i agree that rectal meds r better for you

When I was a kid, suffering with a sore throat, after the doctor had examined me, he left Mum some medicated suppositories for me. Now she, for some reason, decided that I should be 'emptied out' before I was given a supp, maybe to prevent my automatic ejection of the supp before it had melted and been absorbed. I don't think I need to explain to the members of this group just what that meant. (Yup, another excuse to give me an enema.) I guess she didn't want to wait until supp melted with a finger up my bottom (a process that had been used on me with other supps).
Oh, well, I survived. (I'm now almost 70.)
