when mom announced that I needed an enema I would have to wait in my room while she prepared the bag. She would yell down the hall from the bathroom for me to come to the bathroom, but to take my pants off first. I would kick my jeans off and slowly make my way to the bathroom where mom was waiting with the bulging enema bag, she would have me lay over her lap as she was in position on an armless chair, the bag hanging from a hook over her shoulder. Down would go my underpants and in would go the nozzle! Click. The warm soapy water would flow into me. After what seemed an eternity the bag was empty and out would come the nozzle. The feeling of relief as what seemed to be hundreds of marbles dumped out of me. 2 or 3 enemas later I was empty and mom was happy.

Mom never asked if I was constipated but she always knew when I was. I would be irritable and no appetite. The day after Halloween when i was 15 she knew I ate too much candy. When I left for school she told me that tonight was enema night. My heart would jump into my throat and I would be thinking about it all day. My friend Ben asked what what wrong with me and I told him about the impending enema. He smiled and said his mom gave him one over the weekend and that I probably needed it. I thought about it all the way home on the bus. Sure as hell when i got home from school mom had the enema ready to go. Next thing I knew I was bent over the side of the tub with the enema rushing into my butt. Finally the waiting was over and the Enema was in progress. The waiting was the worst part as the enema really made me feel better.
