I can remeber how painful the needle was as a child and how sore my bottom was after the shot.There was also the anticipation as the nurse came in with the syringe and you saw the needle and knew where it was going when they told you to turn over.

My boyfriend is a nurse and I asked him to go with me to my doctor the yesterday. I had a really bad sore throat, ear infection. We are going on a cruise soon and I did not want to be sick on this cruise. The doctor said he would give me a shot of rocephin and a steroid shot. The nurse came in with the 2 shots and I freaked out. He told the nurse he was also an RN and asked if he could possibly give me the shots. He showed his license and she said okay after she checked with the doctor. I unfastned my jeans and pushed them down. He slipped down my panties. he cleaned my hip and squeezed my left cheek and jabbed me. it burned a little. As he was wiping my right hip he said this will hurt a little more. He slapped my bottom which stung , but I never felt him jab me. Then I had this terrible burning in my butt as he injected slowly. he explained that rocephin always hurts. He helped me stand up and fastend my jeans. I know he rried not to let it hurt, but I tell you my butt is still very sore today.

Yeah, but for most of us baby boomers, those injections hurt more because they didn't have disposable syringes and needles. They just kept strealizing the glass syringes, and re-sharpened the needles.
Needles are sharper these days, and thinner to a point.

I took my friend to the emergency room this past Friday because she was having bad stomach cramps and vomiting. She got a mild case of food poisoning. I stepped out while she changed into a gown. The doctor examined her and they drew some blood. She was laying down when the nurse comes in with 2 shots. She has her eyes closed resting. The nurse walks over flips back her gown exposing her little bottom. The nurse tells her to relax as she pushed down her panties. This is my first glimpse of her naked butt. She has a very deep tan and her ass was white just like the old billboard with the dog pulling down the girls bottom for the sun tan lotion ad. She grimaced as she nurse unloaded the zofran into her butt. She hollered out as she got a shot of toradol. She told me that burned like fire going in. The nurse told me I could put the 2 bandaids on her butt cheeks. She asked if I liked what I saw and I told her she had a beautiful butt. I told her I thought it looked really cute untanned and she said she would keep it that way.

My boyfriend and I went on a 3 day cruise last week on the carnival line. The second day on the ship we both came down with really sore throats. We went to see the ship doctor. He told us he suspected strept and said he would be giving each of us an injection of penicillin. My boyfriend lowered his jeans and underwear. I watched as the doctor pinched his buttock and jabbed it with this really long needle. He groaned as he got the shot. Next it was my turn. My hands were shaking as I unzipped my shorts and lowered them. I felt my panties come down and the cold alcohol on my butt. Then I felt him grab my cheek and the pain as he stuck me with the that needle. I started to cry as he gave me the shot. We both went back to our room and fell asleep. The next day we felt better , but our buttd sure did ache. It felt like glue was injected into me it was so thick. I hope I never get another one of those shots.

The other day this nurse came into our store to buy a new phone and I was limping after having strained my back while moving into my apartment. He suggested I come by the urgent clinic he worked at and get a script for some muscle relaxants. After work I stopped in and had some x-rays taken and was given a script for robaxin. he came into discharge me and gave me my instructions and script and he had 3 small syringes with him. he said he was going to give me 3 shots to help me with the pain. It was robaxin also. I was told to lay on the tablwe face down. I realized now that I was going to get them in my rear. he made me take off my heels in case I kicked he said. I lifted up my skirt revealing my bare butt. I usually don't wear underwear. I felt him rub my butt with the alcohol and then I felt him hit me with the first needle. I got in the left cheek and one in the right. I am 26 and it had been a long time since I had received a shot in the butt. I could tell he was enjoying seeing my naked butt.

I am 24 and a nurse in a very large ER. I enjoy the oppurtunity to bare the butt of young guys and jab them. I had this young 25 year old male who came in with a sore throat. The doctor ordered a shot of penicillin. I unsnapped his jeans and pulled them down. I told him to bend over as I pushed down his boxers. He had a cute little butt. As he leaned over I could see his privates hanging. I slapped his rear and jabbed him. he stood up and gasped as I started to inject. When I pulled out the needle he was dancing around the room giving me a good view of everything holding his ass in his hands. My friends father is a pediatrician and I was over having supper with his family. My ring finger was red and swollen after a kitten we were playing with at a pet store had biten me. He said I needed some antibiotics and called my parents that he could see me in hs office the next day. My boyfriend drove me there. He had the nurse clean it and apply a dressing to it. X-rays revealed no foreign body. The nurse comes in with 2 shots. One was rocephin and a tetanus shot. She told Tim he would need to step out and I said no I want him in here with me. She said okay then. She said please lay on the table and unsnap your jeans. I then realized it was going into my butt. Tim wathced as I undid my jeans and pushed them down. he came over and held my hand. I felt my panties being pulled down. Tim is looking at my bare white butt. She swabs my butt and then I feel this big jab. My bottom is on fire as she gives me the shot. She pulls out the needle and then I feel her wipe my other hip and this one I barely felt due to pain in the other cheek. She asks Tim if he would place bandaids on my butt. As we drive home he tells me he is sorry he watched. I told him I was glad he was there. That evening I asked him to rub my sore bottom as I laid on his lap watching TV. I could feel him get excited as he was doing it.

i would like to have a nurse give me a shot of penicillion to me in my bottom here some time to see if i could really hack it and see what the pain really feels like again i have not had one since i was a kid here i am 43 yrs old live in Massachusetts here

I DO sometimes wonder if I could take the pain of a butt shot now. WHEN I was a kid it HURT SOO BAD/[ like you the pennicilian shots hurt my butt/terribly I wonder how I would react now??? IF you get one let me know how you handled it .how bad it hurt your butt? CLOSE to the same age as you

Heres the deal. LOL If your in enough pain, I think you would take a buttshot.
But, it would have to be enough pain to where you wanted relief no matter what.
Thats my take on it....
PS...Concerning Laurens post, No nurse is going to let someone have the honors of putting the band aids on. I;m sure there are even liability questions there for if the area of the injection got infected, one could argue that the nurse allowed a laymen to cover the wound? So I think the story is fake. I can't see why a nurse wouldn't put her own band aids on after giving 2 painful shots. She might as well have asked the janitor to do it!!!!

I can remember like it was yesterday/the feeling as the needle would cut my ass skin and be driven far into the muscle cutting it's way through and the alcohol and meds buring/my ass SO PAINFUL/how would the rest of you describe your experiences==ANYONE fel the same way as me?

Mandy, you are entitled to your opinion but I notice that you did not your statement with much. I received a large shot of Rocephin in my butt several years ago. I did not see how large the dose nor the 'weapon used' was. My new bride, a nurse w/ 30 years experience, was standing there behind me with my pants at half mast waiting. Her comment when she saw the syringe was an audible-to-me "Oh no!". It didn't hurt going in as bad as I expected. However, the soreness lasted about four days.
I got the shot as the alternative to spending the rest of Christmas Eve & all Christmas Day in the hospital for an infected cat bite.
I think it depends on the recipient's experience & pain receptors how they react to a painful shot. That's my experience.

Ive heard that pills start working almost as fast as shot does. The main reason for the shot is to bypass the stomach so it doesnt cause issues there...Is this not true?
