No nurses are needed for that. Don't let them convince you they need even 1 nurse. Nurses are there only for the doctors laziness or their own enjoyment. Probably both.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 1995. I checked out all my options and chose a radical prostatectomy (removal). At that time seed implant therapy was in its infancy and there was not alot of long term effectiveness data available.
In retrospect, I wish I had gone with the seed implants. The procedure seems to be as effective in earlier stages as total removal and with LESS SIDE EFFECTS. Even though the doc used the nerve sparing technique to do my prostatectomy, only one nerve bundle could be saved; and unfortunately, I haven't had an erection since the surgery. Really sucks!
