Yea it is a kick to the nuts and yea it ends our season but think of all that we accomplished with less. Bronson was out Winborn was out Fiore was out Parker was out Rasheed was in and out Curtis was out Webster was in and out Heard was in and out Owens was in and out Ron Stone was in and out The list goes on and on Think about the good stuff. We learned that we can use TO with double coverages and schemes to prevent him from gettign the ball Tai Streets stepped up Julian Peterson stepped up as a premier player Andre Carter stepped up,others did not 6 probowlers Tony Parrish flourished Winborn showed probowl like play,hopefully he can do the same in 2003 Tank and others want to slash and burn the team.To some extent we might need to but we dont have to be Bill Walsh and release our entire team like he did during our "rebuilding years." Garcia is good enough.He isn't Michael Vick,he is isn't Young or Montana. But he is good enough to lead us to a superbowl. Why isn't everyone saying Young cost us the supervowl when we were 13-3 (1998?),homefield advantage throughtout the playoffs,#1 D, Rice and Owens, Hearst, and the rest. He needs more help. Why don't we fire Donahue too?He gave us Flanigana and Moran and the rest of non producers. It just didn't go our way this year. The Marines are so good at what they do because they pay attention to details, just so it becomes second nature. Everything has to be dusted and cleaned,and polished, and extreme discipline. We need to show that everywhere. Draft,practice,mini camp,training camp,game,pre game,post game,speeches. Trade up in the draft to get Terrel Suggs!why?To show killer instinct! This season was overblown in all actuality.I as well as everyone else here wanted a 6th ring but it wasn't all that likely.
