problem: i have to give a persuasive speech for my english class. "this speech should deal with an issue of contraversy and interest. the speaker should choice a side and voice his/her opinion on it with research to back it." sounds easy enough right? i 'do' speech, lots of topics and ideas right? NO! last time i attempted to do something halfway smart(NMD) for a speech, my entire class had no idea what i was talking about (i guess two big things in the sky blowing eachother up is too hard to comprehend) and mrs. clark (if thats her real name) counted me off because my speech lacked appeal to the audience. so for my persuasive speech i have to choice a topic that will cater to the stupidity of my class. any ideas?
