OK - I see what you're saying but there are tons of differences between the two.
I will tell you that there are some things on internal policy concerning anti-terrorism that strike me as more Soviet-type paranoia. I've been writing down some thoughts on this line and carrying them around in my briefcase and trying to roganize them into an little essay to post here - but lately, they've just been riding around and not getting organized.
