As I said, I was not picking a fight. Though, I think your use of the words "dismissive pettiness" a bit odd. Why is my dimissiveness petty? Or why is pettiness dismissive?!? Why should I not dismiss a thing I find to be boring? :) My dismissiveness has upset people before, but sometimes we just dismiss things we don't like and it has little to do with pettiness and more to do with personal tastes and a quick mind and tendency to dismiss or incorporate certain elements of life. No biggie. We all do it.
