May I suggest your calling the Highway Superintendant and finding out what the problems are? I have 14 men on the payroll, 150 miles of road to maintain.I am trying to get the roads swept in the entire Town so that the Men can devote their attention to patching potholes.(You cannot put blacktop in a hole filled with sand). It now costs abot 70.000 per mile to pave. My budget will allow me to pave about 6 miles of road out of 150 miles this year. at that rate it will take 25 more years to pave the whole Town. It is ALL about MONEY, MANPOWER, and Nature not beating us up like it did this past Monday.ALl the roads that we have spent the last month and a half sweeping are now trashed again.I drive the same roads you do on a daily basis and the potholes annoy me just as much as you.
