its a simple pattern ...
with 5.5 mm needles (US size 9)
cast on 22 sts
knit 4 rows
row 1: knit across
row 2: k3, purl to last 3sts, k3
repeat rows 1 and 2 till desired length.
Knit 4 more rows Cast off knitwise.

Alternately, you can also cast on any desired amout of sts and use a straight knit every row and it looks awesome.
