Good luck to the Dukes. I surely would have preferred to see them as a possible future member than the time Towson was a member to fill a void (Towson used us more than we used them). As to Fordham and Holy Cross leaving the PL (for football), rumors have a way of taking on a life of it's own on these boards...rumors are just that. The only possible hint of it was when teams were leaving the A-10 which left openings. Now, there is no more A-10 football, so if anythng, the PL may want to fill that vacent 8th spot one day. I know Marist has shown interest, but I doubt if the PL would consider them.

Still...there was that Towson period.....

I am very content with the 7 team arrangement as it provides great flexibility for OOC scheduling. Obviously, if Fordham or any other school were to leave, then we would have to look around but for now this is a great situation.

Good luck to Duquesne as they made the right choice. Obviously, their Robert Morris game gets bigger joing the NEC and Albany is a nice NEC team.
