Hi Klaus,
This is most interesting material and completely new to me. It even makes me stand closer to these men as they were stationed at my home village Groot Jabbeke which includes Jabbeke, Snellegem and Varsenare together with two other villages !
And it is indeed most certainly material for the new book ! But also for the website of the village's history !
I have found large amounts of burrials on the Flanders cemetaries of this unit. The number of losses you mention explains why.
