According to the source I have for the previous Wolfram Eisenlohr post (Neal O'Connor), the Friedrichshafen FF.41a seaplane was also used for laying minefields as well as long-range maritime reconnaissance and bombing missions. O'Connor describes Eisenlohr and his fellow flyers (based at Windau) as laying three or four minefields, one of which was in the straights of Irben between the Gulf of Riga and the Baltic. O'Connor described these mines as being 750 kilograms in weight.
