Hi,

Wanted to give you all this scoop. There is a new book on the way for publishing at Leo Cooper in London on the Zeebrugge and Oostende raids of St George's day 1918, from the hand of Deborah Lake.

And I'm happy to say that for the very first time from British side there was made a very good and objective study on these raids. In fact the author comes to the same conclusions as I did, that the harbour of Zeebrugge was not blocked, and neither was Oostende.

But what's more she shows very clearly the political involvements behind the curtains of the scene, shows that Adm. Keyes was in fact very negligant in his preparations, ...

I have already seen the text, and I must say this will be a bommer on the British Island, and for a number of people overhere in West Flanders also.

If you really want to know what happened, there is no doubt about it, this is a book you should have !

Johan
