I have a naval dirk blade with the personalization on it "Oechel s/l Ernst, Juli 1915". I translate this as "From Oechel with best wishes to Ernst, July 1915" which was probably when they graduated from naval candidate school. I do not have access to "Ehrenrangliste der Kaiserlichte Deutschen Marine 1914-1918". Would anyone be able to provide any information on the careers of these two naval officers?
