I am considering getting into kayaking. I am 6'5", 265# with a size 15 foot. So far, I have test paddled the Carolina 16.0 and have liked it except that I can only get my feet in one position, even with close fitting water shoes.
My question to you all is has anyone compared the rear cockpit of the Carolina II 17.5 with the cockpit of the Carolina 16.0? I am interested in leg room, foot room and general fit for the big guy. The 16.0 fits me well, but I am a bit nervous about limited foot position options.
I have also set in the Eddyline Nighthawk 17.5, but not paddled it. The foot room in that boat is hugh, but the price differential between it and the Carolina is equally huge.
