Hi John!!
You'll have a blast there... Wear comfy shoes, bring an empty backpack for collecting catalogs, etc. A notepad and pen is a good thing to keep handy, and carefully check the speaker's schedule. Our first time there we didn't make time for that, and regretted it.

By all means, head over to the Great Dane Brew Pub down on Doty Street Saturday night. (Sort of between Canoecopia and Carl's shop). Should be anywhere from 5 to 25 paddlers meeting there to eat, drink, and be merry! We're planning a Wisconsin River trip together, and are inviting any out of towners to come and talk paddling with us too!
