Has any had experience with this boat? I tried it out at the 2004 Symposium in Port Angles. Many boats on the beach fit me (6'1", 245", 10" shoes) but this was the only boat to bring a smile to my face and keep it glued there. They're from Vancouver Island, B.C.
Several unique design elements: foil rudder which deploys like a skeg (I liked it!) unique hatches (?), very clean lines... at 25" wide it was still plenty responsive, didn't feel like dragging a sofa through the water like the PWS Thunderbird... 2nd choice was between Eddlyine 17.5 and Impex Asseteague...

My lake froze over for good December 18.
I saw your Phoenix question, searched and found the Lightspeed Kayaks website, and now find myself seriously afflicted with kayak lust, and no way even to paddle my old 'yak until my lake thaws in March.
Oh, well.
