I'm very bummed to see that this site is going down soon, as I only JUST found it (5 minutes ago)... and really hope to have the time to explore the resources here before it disappears.

Is there any email list or other online forums for us bigger paddlers??

Also... thanks, Wes, for the great info in your articles... I"ve been reading them and it really helps!

I want to thank you, Wes. This website has been invaluable for the big and tall kayakers like me ( 6' 5", size 15 feet). Further, I have found all of your comments in the "Boats" section to be dead-on accurate, from comments about plastic work to intended uses and durabilities. My assortment of boats now include the Dagger Blackwater, Pyranha H3 255, Necky Manitou, and Prijon Kodiak. I have selected these boats based in large part upon your reviews of these boats and their competitors. I wish you luck in your further endeavours. Thanks.
