Thanks for your comments. One thing I've always liked about Wes' stories is that they are well researched. Your comments above seem to confirm this. I know this story was set in the late 40s and early 50s. When did you do your racing? Also, I wonder if there were racing teams similar to this one that went around the country putting on shows in small venues like the ones described in this story?
