That got me curious, and I wound up ordering the book. I have to say it's a fun read! It gets into a lot of background of early fifties sports car racing, and that was an interesting era. It's also funny -- it puts me in mind of Janet Evanovich. Amazon has a long free sample of it on the page -- you might like to check it out. Thanks to Greg for putting me onto this one. It is Wilbur Shaw s biography. It covers a lot of the racing era before WWII and afterward. I don't know how long afterward as its been years since I read the book. Cheers, RustyKen
