G'day KP,
There's a hell of a difference about being adult and working and getting married to that of having to grow up and be mature. I found out, the hardest way possible, my wife (now ex) who was in her mid twenties when we met and employed, has never grown up and matured. now in her fifties she still thinks and behaves like a sixteen year old self indulgent snot. Age and adult activities do NOT equal grown up maturity. Crystal has been engaged in adult activities for a long time but is only now starting to grow up and act with maturity, as shown by her behaviour in Pulling Even.
Randy is just showing an emotional reacting to having to grow up and be mature early due to family circumstance, Nicole sees this and is being supportive. Randy is still nice enough to support her in having good times he can't, which shows he's still very nice, just vocalising his upsets instead of bottling them up - so he now sounds a but whiny, he's communicating with his wife and friends.
Regards,
Ernest
