I was just coming to the forum to report this. I'm sure
the other branches will want some too. The Navy reports
the cost for firing it is 1$ per shot.
My goodness, imagine what the bonus checks are going to look like at Lambatatron?

They still haven't caught up with Jon and Tanisha. This Navy system uses the direct power of a laser beam to burn a hole in the target. Jon and Tanisha's used a maser at microwave lengths to burn out the electronics. I know there have been experiments with this approach, but nothing deployable has resulted -- so far.

Ot at least a weapon the Navy will admit to! Might have been the Air Force's baby since the Butterfly was picked up by the AF.
