In GT6, Tanisha (currently 25) thinks "Doris was just about the spitting image of Tanisha's mother, dead eight years now".

The question about chruch finances kinda helps support this now too. As it would help keep her from claiming any $$ from the church. Also it would have helped to keep control over church members that might have left if they found out she just split on her family.... Could be she (doris) tried to get custody of her Daughter and was told by the Father and brother that she (Tanisha)had died. which would explain Doris's thinking that Tanisha looked like her Daughter would have if she haden't died. It just dosen't explain why Tanisha name didn't provoke a response from Doris about it. Like i said before we'll have to wait to see....but i won't be suprised at doris haveing some sort of family tie to Tanisha or her family. or Doris and her fatherinlaw being a bit more then just dinner friends..
