Subject: New Website Author: dotB aka K Pelle [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 12:22:39 09/28/14 Sun Wes, I'll apologize in advance in advance for posting this here, but just so folks know, I've set up a new website for my stories at http://www.grynenbayritpublications.com/ The site is classed as adult literature, it doesn't require a sign in and it's free. No ads so far, and I'm not planning to include them at this time. There are five or six ongoing serials running, three complete novels and a few short stories posted there already. I took a quick look at how your stories are laid out. From what I can see, you have a 135 pixel wide navigation frame, then an auto-width story frame, then a 135 pixel wide frame for a gutter on the right. I don't know what you're using to actually generate the site code, so I don't know how easy or hard this would be, but if you remove the right-hand gutter frame, and add style="padding-right: 135px;" to the body tag of the story frame (so go from <body> to <body style="padding-right: 135px;">), that should place the scrollbar on the right hand edge of the browser, yet preserve the gutter space on the right.

So it's going to stay the way it is for now. Thanks for the thought though - I learned something I may use somewhere in the future. Perhaps???? kp
