OK, I tried that. "Save link as..." in the latest Firefox gives me a file named fileman.cgi which I can't do anything with. "Save target as..." in the ancient version (6.0) I have of IE gives me a file named fileman.htm, which shows up as a Firefox Document in properties. When I try to open that, I get the same error message as referenced above, and in my earlier post. I get the same results (including the same file name) for the "How to create a character page" and for the timeline files.

Now what?

The file should have a ".pdf" suffix and should be opened by the free version of Acrobat Reader.

I tried changing the suffix from .cgi to .pdf, and Acrobat Reader gave me an error saying invalid file format.
