Hi Wes
Here’s an idea I got reading Growing Together chapter six. The idea is that doris, Pete’s friend was a twin to Tanisha’s mother. Maybe they were separated at birth and grew up not knowing about each other or maybe Tanisha’s father caused a lot of strife in their early years and she moved to Chicago to get away from him.
Sounds like a good plot to me, what do you think?

I have been intrigued by Doris since she was first introduced in "Growing Together" and her implied relation to Tanisha. One of the questions that has been floating around in my head is, ...is she Tanisha's mom? Was her death faked? So many options there.
