A number of years back while working in the Seattle area, I flew my wife (then girlfriend) out for 4th of July weekend to see me. We drove down to part of the Rainier National Forest near the White River. That water (also glacial runoff), if you were lucky, was 34-35 degrees and felt MUCH colder as the rapid flow drew the warmth out of your hands fast! JW [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
