Thanks for the reports.

I tried watching the history display update as I navigate and found that when a chapter loads into a sub-frame, that does not get into the history, but when a chapter loads into its own window or tab, it does appear in the history. I'm just surprised I never noticed that before. The link colors are consistant with the history display. I guess I'm satisfied that I understand well enough what it is that I'm seeing now.
