Came across a nice picture of the Canyon.

Great picture -- only it made me homesick!
You see as a kid I grew up in Alberta and used to spend a lot of time in a place called 'Horse Thief Canyon' down in the Red Deer River Valley. (Okay, so it's a lot smaller and nowhere near as deep, but the scenery is surprisingly similar -- and the HTC has dinosaur fossils. lol)

I like the picture. I prefer the North Rim to the South. The North is a little wilder and uncivilized.

The Canyon has some dino fossils, too, just not many as most of it is much too old, layers placed before dinosaurs evolved.
